Zakir Memorial Educational Trust (NGO): Zakir Memorial Educational Trust(NGO)is Non Govermental Organisation established in 2004 in Pulwama District of Kashmir. The Trust has a vission of serving the cause of education by running and supporting the educational institutions,the trust has also established a college of education in the year 2005 and stands affiliated with the University of Kashmir for imparting instructions in the B.Ed course. located at Tahab Pulwama on left side of jammu-Srinagar highway at distance of 12 Km. from Sangram( near DPS Anantnag) on lattir-Lassipora road. the college is 2 Km. away from IGC lassipora and 6 Km. from Pulwama District Hqtrs. Special features ::: Well established Library with good number of books, magazines and newspapers. Well equipped computer lab. with audio visual aids. Well managed Bio-Physical Science lab. Besides four compulsory papers the college offers special papers (V) Population Education, Guidence and Counselling, Computer Education, Environmental Education and Special Education. The College offers choice of nine subjects in papers (VI) (VII) and (VII) namely Teaching of Urdu, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Physical Science, Bio-Science, History, Geography and Mathematics
